Watercolour Illustrations

These are simple but I’ve just been playing with watercolour styles in illustrations incase I was to go with the tour guide idea or something similar. This style i think is the most warm and friendly for travellers.
This is my favourite piece because of the composition I think and just the unique design. I made watercolour marks on the paper first and spent my time doing the kind of loose drawing over it of a Spanish building.
This one is drawing ink on thick watercolour paper and a basic fine-liner drawing over the top. I was seeing how the colours work. They are really vibrant and bright which is a nice background but also can also become a bit over empowering.
